A large part of my creative process involves preparatory work in the form of drawn sketches either from life or from imagination. I work for spontaneity in my composition sketches then I proceed to more considered studies working out details and perspective drawings. After I am satisfied with the forms in space, I move onto individual colour studies in oils, watercolour and tempera.
